Jim, looks like you were productive this weekend. All I managed to do was clean the truck, rebuild the brakes on Tim's car and clean his yard. LOL!

No matter what we are going to loose it, anything she gets isn't going to be enough for our raised rent.
Anyway, going to install new steering wheel control buttons today..Clearcoated them yesterday to prevent any more paint peeling.

Looks like everything is turning for the good! Still going to be stuck at moms for a couple of months, but we got a promising place to move out to!
Originally we were going to move into one of the wife's friends house. She lives with her husband in the basement of her parents. Her parents were going to move out and she and her husband get the upstairs, me and the wife get the downstairs/basement apartment. It was put on a hault because he lost his job.
Just now they told us he got a promising job, and that means in the next few months I'll be moving into a house!!!(thats not moms!) oh this is so good. I never knew I could finally live my dream on Long Island.
Oh, and originally they said I can have dibs on the garage. I'll be the only gear head in the household. Sweet!

You are raised by your parents to expect more out of life then they had. You are raised to go out into the world and experience more than what your parents did, so you do exactly this. Threw out your life you try to become something more than just the kid from New York . One day you wake up and realize that the best thing you ever were is that kid from New York and that home is home and you miss all that made you the core person you are today. You may be Italian, you may be Spanish or you may be Jewish (to name a few) and we may be loud but we are honest and we would lay down our lives in a second for our family and friends. I am that kid from New York and I'm proud of it!!!

This week has been a nightmare!!! Diana blew up the transmission in the Jeep over the weekend, And Then bought a 2011 Jeep Liberty on Monday. There goes my savings account! Matt's driving me nuts about the wiring in his Monte. Then there is work! Spent Monday and Tuesday diagnosing one of the most bizarre issues on a Sprinter Van I have ever come across! Spent today trying to make up time at work.

Tonight we drove to Geneva to pick up his interior. The beast does not get good good gas mileage! Tomorrow I have to swap over the rims and tires on Jason's new ride, then get the interior into Matt's Monte!

Sometime before Sunday I have to egt my SS ready!

I would suggest opening the hood and seeing where the leak is and then repairing said leak in an expeditious manor....

Tim, you will see it Sunday. And trust me, you will not be disappointed.

Jim, It only got worse today! 2006 Ford F-250 Super Duty, Broke 4 of the 6 spark plugs I have attempted to pull out. Got 2 out, two still stuck in there. And 2 I haven't even begun to think about!
Tomorrow I need to replace the turbo on a 2008 Sprinter Van. A 7.5 hour job and they want it back tomorrow! Somehow I can't wait till this week is over!!

you're correct Frank it was a blur.
spent all weekend at my friends house drywalling his wreck room in the barn.
36 sheets of drywall hung.
every damn piece had to be cut. no straight edges in a 100yr old building...
had to come to work to relax today...

Well, everyone knows how my weekend was, LOL! Jim thanks for the part #, but no one around here has one. So I grabbed a set of the plastic ones so i can get the car back up and running. Maybe next time I'm headed out that way I have you get me a set of the aluminum ones. it only takes 20 minutes to change them so not a big deal.

Well today at work was fun, I had to replace a turbo in a 2008 Sprinter van! 8 hour job! I could have been to Summit Racing and back in that time. But it's done and my arms are a little bloody, LOL!

here are pics of the drywall job we did this past weekend. me and my friend who owns the 100yr old barn hung 36 sheets. my brother and a helper did the 19 sheets on the ceiling.
it turned out awesome. i also ran over 600' of wiring in this building. will make a nice wreck room. oh and the wall next to the closed door opens up to get things up and down the stairs. 82" wide wall on hinges.

been sick the past few days, finally feeling better.

Going to sand down the underbody today, alot or rust that needs to be removed & undercoated. Tomorrow I'm going to start priming and paint. Doing this as temporary until I have money to get it professionally done. (unless I somehow do a amazing job by myself..)

Thanks Jim, I'd rather not have to use a set, but I don't think these plastic ones are worth a crap. I swapped them today, it split in 4 places. $4. part and 20 minutes of work ruined a weekend!

Yeah, thats going to be a hard one. I'm still working out the schedule at work. But I promise I will make the run out there sometime this year. Atleast i know nobody will be staying in the Monte hunters wing, LOL!!!

Kevin, I highly doubt you need a set. Unless you have a 3800 in something we don't know about, LOL!

What is everyone having header issues this year?? LOL! Frank, Jim is right, header bolts come loose quite often. Try tightening them first and see if you can get away with that.

Jim, I didn't care for those copper ones either, I use plain old Mr. Gasket ones with high temp silicone around the ports, they last about 6 years. Next time I will need to either have the headers sandblasted and re powder coated or go with a set of ceramicoat new ones. Mine are starting to rust after 13 years.
