Restoration Shop AE- Acrylic Enamel
with AE3001 Polyurethane Hardener
The Restoration Shop AE Acrylic Enamel
with Polyurethane Hardener system is a single stage
system designed for overall automobile refinishing or
as a fleet and equipment finish. It resists the elements
retaining color and gloss with an easy-to-use system.
COMPONENTS
• AE - Acrylic Enamel Color
• UR 60 - Urethane Reducer Fast
• UR 70 - Urethane Reducer Medium
• UR 85 - Urethane Reducer Slow
• XR70 - Exempt Reducer for 3.5 VOC
System
• AE3001- Acrylic Enamel Wet Look
Hardener / Polyurethane Enhancer
POT LIFE @ 77°F
8 hours once mixed with AE3001 Wet Look Hardener
MIXING RATIO
Mixing Ratios: 8 : 1 : 2 8 parts AE Color – 1 part AE3001 Hardener – 2 parts UR Reducer
(Select the best Temperature for your conditions). AE Kit contains the exact amount required to
obtain the 8 : 1 : 2 Mix Ratio. AE Kit includes 1 Gallon AE Color, 1 Pint AE3001 Hardener and 1
Quart of the Reducer of your choice.
CLEAN UP

AE Series Acrylic Enamel may be applied over: Cleaned, sanded and primed OEM or Refinish
topcoat. Kustom Shop KEP Epoxy Primer / Sealer. Kustom Shop KUP Urethane Primer. Kustom
Shop KFP Hi-Build 2K Primer Surfacer Kustom Shop KPP Polyester Primer, Kustom Shop KL611
Old school Acrylic Lacquer Primer, AS – Acrylic Enamel Primer Sealer
SURFACE PREPARATION
USE RECOMMENDED UNDERCOAT SYSTEM FOLLOWING RECOMMENDED
PROCEDURES.
• Abrade with 150 grit then 320 grit sandpaper or equivalent.
• Wipe with KW901 Grease and Wax Remover or KW902 Anti-Static Panel Kleaner
• For best results apply anti-corrosive primer such as KEP Series epoxy primers.
APPLICATION
For Air Spray
• Spray 2 - 3 medium wet coats or to full hiding is achieved
• Allow 10 -15 minutes @ 70° F flash time between coats

Restoration Shop UB Basecoat is a state-ofthe-
art, basecoat/clearcoat system designed to
reproduce the hi-tech O.E.M. finishes found on today’s
vehicles. It features outstanding coverage, rapid dry time,
excellent metallic control and optimum repairability.
COMPONENTS
• UB - High Performance Base Color
• UR 60 - Urethane Reducer Fast
• UR 70 - Urethane Reducer Medium
• UR 85 - Urethane Reducer Slow
POT LIFE @ 77°F
When properly covered at 77°F UB Basecoat will maintain a sprayable viscosity indefinitely
MIXING RATIO
Mixing Ratios: 2 : 1 2 parts UB Color – 1 part UR Reducer.

SURFACE PREPARATION
USE RECOMMENDED UNDERCOAT SYSTEM FOLLOWING RECOMMENDED PROCEDURES.
• Wipe with KW901 Grease and Wax Remover or KW902 Anti-Static Panel Kleaner
• Abrade with 150 grit then 320 grit sandpaper or equivalent.
• Wipe again with KW901 Grease and Wax Remover or KW902 Anti-Static Panel Kleaner
• For best results apply anti-corrosive primer such as KEP Series epoxy primers over bare
metal.
APPLICATION
For Air Spray
• Spray 2 - 3 medium-wet coats with an overlap of 50% until full hiding is achieved
• Allow 5-10 minutes @ 70° F flash time between coats
• Dry mils 2.0 to 3.0 mils. Wet mils 4.0 to 6.5 mils.
• Surface temperature should be 50-100°F with less than 80% ambient humidity preferred

Restoration Shop AL- Acrylic Lacquer
Restoration Shop AL Series Acrylic Lacquer
is a fast dry, acrylic based lacquer system
designed for Automotive Restoration Purposes. AL
Series Acrylic Lacquer single stage colors can be
polished to a full gloss. CL3245 High Performance
Acrylic Lacquer Clear coat may be used to give more
depth of color and added durability as well as making
polishing easier.
COMPONENTS
• AL - Acrylic Lacquer Color
• LT 70 - Lacquer Thinner
• LT 85 - High Gloss Lacquer Thinner
• CL3245 - High Performance Acrylic Lacquer

MIXING RATIO
Reduce 100% with LT Lacquer Thinner. Use one part lacquer to one part thinner (1:1). AL Kit
contains the exact amount required to obtain the 1 : 1 Mix Ratio.

Optional Clear coating: If desired, a clear coat can be applied to provide additional long term durability
and wet-look appearance. CL3245 High Performance Acrylic Lacquer Sunscreening Clear. Mix 1 : 1 with
LT85 High Gloss Lacquer Thinner. Apply 3-4 coats before clearcoat. Allow the final coat of color to dry

(Select for best Temperature). AU Kit contains the exact amount required to obtain the 4 : 1 : 1 Mix
Ratio. AU Kit includes 1 Gallon AU Color, 1 Quart AU4001 Hardener and 1 Quart of the Reducer of
your choice.
