Spoiler 6th Gen

I am curious how much is involved in changing the spoiler on the 6th gen? I am not a fan of the flat surfboard spoilers and I much prefer the stand up style.

Is it a direct bolt on replacement or does in need more than that?

Rich, The stand up is not a direct bolt on, the surfboard is wider and uses different bolt holes. Now, for the same reason, I have been trying to find out if the 06-07 flat/stand up will mount directly, but no one has been able to give me a definate answer.

get the spoiler from the 06+ and it's a direct bolt in. the 2000-05 nascar spoilers no not cover the holes that the surf board spoiler has

i wish i could find a closer pic of the spoiler on the trunk. it does sweep onto the top of the deck a good amount to cover the holes, but just look at a '06+ monte , it will be the exact same

and yes Joe you are unique.. but I will admit, that it is better than the hump spoiler on the 5th gens. I never quite understood the purpose of that one

Do you mean the wingless look on the 6th Gens Tim? That's the hump I hate the worst thing about a monte is that hump in the back without a wing, I agree fer sure...

Really? Hmm I don't think that one looks so bad, kinda blends in....Then again I'm the one who likes the surf board on the 6th gens so I am different...lol...I still think a wingless 6th gen trunk bump is the WORST though...
