No Steering

left from work tonight, and I have no steering.  Feels like i have no power steering.  Checked the fluid, full.  Checked the pullies, all turning.  Any ideas?  I'm thinking ISS possibly?  Is it possible for the pully to turn, but not have enough pressure to get the fluid moving? anything else?

Tim, Start the car, look into the reservoir, see if you can see the fluid circulating. If not, shut it off and take a screwdriver and see if the pulley will move outward. About a 3/16" is normal, But more that that, there is a good chance the shaft broke. Take the belt off and see if it moves more. Sadly, it is a common problem

THAT WAS IT!!!!! did what you said. Looked in the resivoir, fluid not circulating. Staped the car, took a screwdriver to pry the pullie, it moved a good 1/4" or more, and the shaft was working it's way out. SO I imagine I need a new PS pump?? Silly, question, but would I be doing any harm if I drove it to the parts store and back home tomorrow? probably 5mi round trip?

today was the dat from Hell.. Started at 10am, went and got the part.  Part store didn;t have the loaner puller, so had to go buy it.  come home to put the car in the garage to start working, hit the car with the garage.  Got the white paint off the car and finially starting to work on the car. (oh and did I mention it was 6 deg outside????) get the pump out and go in to warm up, its 12 now.  Wife reminds me that we have a heater from when we go camping and to use that to try and help.  plug it in, thing catches on fire!!!!!  take a 20 min break and back out to work.  Work on getting the pully off.  Lube the hell out of it and work on getting it off.  Cant get it of, I believe either the shaft was bent, or I bent it along with the puller.  Decide to just buy a new pully, come home, it's 2.  Get the pully on...kind of, couldn't get the last 1/8" on.  work on getting the pump back in.  had trouble, and lost a bolt some where, finially ready to add fluid at 5.  start it up and i'm getting a funny winding noise from the pump nonono
