well the 3800 has been known for having gasket issues. Is it leaking from the manifold in the are area of the manifold?

If you have an head gasket issue some of the signs will be running at higher temperature, coolant in the oil, loss of coolant from the resivoir

Look at the underside of the oil cap, or dip stick. If you see a chochlate shake then you definately have gasket issues.

If you know for sure I would get a pressure check and try to pinpoint where the leak is.
