Hi all. I am Dave and I am from Rochester, NY. I've met Tim (donutboy97) a few times buying parts and at local events and I met a couple of other guys down at Carlisle this weekend as I was drawn in to see a mint 99 Monte with 230k. I was very impressed by everyone I met there, although I apologize for not remembering your names.

Some of you guys may recognize me from other forums as I frequent chevytalk.org, w-body.com, mymonte.com and 3800tech.net. My dad and I restore older cars, mainly A bodies and now W bodies, and between him and I we have 18 total between show and every day cars.

My favorite cars I own are my 75 Laguna and 77 Chevelle which are both restored. I also last November, purchased a 1999 Z34 that is in amazing shape. I also have a 90 Lumina which I plan on doing a turbo 3.1 swap into and make it a 4 door Z34 Lumina clone ( I have all the parts, just no money or time to do at the moment), and a 97 Lumina which is almost an LTZ clone...and that will be getting an L67 swap when I have the cash to do so. I also have a 96 and another 97 Lumina that I drive every day. I also have a 77 Monte that was my uncles, and it is need of a restoration, which will happen at some point in the future as well.

My old man has a 98 Z34 that we bought for $54 back in February because it needed a transmission. Since then, she is up and running and making good progress on it's restoration. He also has a 77 Monte he's had since it was a year old, with swivel buckets. He also has a 77 Chevelle and a 75 Laguna just like mine, only mine is white with red stripes, his is red with white stripes.

That sums up the good cars. We have some others, an 01 Malibu LS, my sister has an 06 Grand Prix, mom has a 2010 Malibu LT, and a few others I may be leaving out.
