Nice. I like the staggered 17" and 18" wheels.

if i could have ur body style.. even thou the 2000 and up (thinking its the 6th(7th being 06/07) gen.) kept the look as the 4th?.. i would still take ur gen over mine.. just since growing up as a kid in 80's to me that gen monte was to me the muscle car look.. a rectangle on wheels.. mines gone thru to many wind tunnels.. kinda softens her some.... plus heck i got tomuch grab under my hood.. 5.3 where lol i see more non engine than i do engine, and the engine i do see is covered by a plastic engine cover.. it still amaze'es me how they drove on 14/15 inch wheels.. i probally could fit my spare on that car be more useful than on mine lol..hey taking about wheel sizes back in those days and ones now.. can the original size of the 4th gen wheel handle the engine mods u guys do now? what is biggest thing about 14/15 inch 4th gen wheel compared to my 18 inch? is wheel/tire/ size basically only deal with the confort of the ride and not as much as in the power of the car?

what kinda price tag would u put on a car like urs ?.. i always argue with myself over buy a early gen camaro since i love the look or spend same money if not even more if loking at the new ss and ZL1 prices ur talking 40k and above..im sure u can buy a early gen camaro for much cheaper..i guess it comes down to modern handleing over 60's handleing

if you pop the intake off your motor, it will look very similar to an older V8

as for the wheel comment, diameter has nothing to do with power it can handle. I'll put my 15" forged Weld wheels against any of the cast OEM crap on cars today.

the smaller the sidewall of the tire, the better it will handle. (simply less tire flex). The larger the diameter and heavier weight of todays wheels actually rob power. but 95% of people that buy new cars are looking for style / looks over HP. 95% of them dont know how to use the HP they have.

so thats why like mine the tires are thin compared to a typical 16 inch on a normal car..right?.. but same time they would either have to lower the car or shrink the wheel well if they wanted to use 14 or 15 inch wheel to reduce weight.. but i see ur arguement, noone today would like the look of 14 or 15 inch wheel on todays sports cars.. so u get the thin tire with my style but get stuck with the added wheel weight cause its size lol.. cant win lol.... odd thing is the smaller style wheels on older sports car look just fine.. maybe cause used to that look on them...putting the much bigger size wheels on older cars to me just dont look right...

about ur style hood... whats difference between ram air hood or hoods ur style..
