Filled out a survey regarding the stay at the Quality Inn. Here is the response:

Dear Frank,

Thank you for taking the time to complete our online survey regarding your recent stay at our hotel.

On behalf of our entire team, I would like to apologize for failing to exceed your expectations. Your satisfaction is important to us and we will be using the feedback you provided to make improvements to ensure we offer an exceptional experience for our guests in the future.

I hope that you will consider staying with us again so that we can have another chance to provide you with a superior experience.

Sincerely,

Miranda Casto
Front Desk Manager
Quality Inn
717-243-6000

I got a kick out of "failing to exceed your expectations" and "another chance to provide you with a superior experience". Nothing a complete renovation and new management can't fix.

Speaking of.. we may have secured a new hotel, and a friend over at the 1st Gen Monte club has a deal with this Hotel, and would like to include our group in the deal. We will post the info soon!

The fact that they said the room was $109, and it turned out to be $129 is another issue, it's not right. And the rooms are just dirty! :(

I'm guessing the Fairfield Inn.  I stayed there for Corvette Carlisle. Limited trailer parking along entrance road. They don't let you park on the grass, just along the road next to it and it isn't that close to the hotel.  That may have changed.  I will check it out when I go to Corvette Carlisle to see how they are handling the trailers now.   Not really close at all to gas, food, go karts, Hoss's(LOL)etc. It is in an industrial type area and nothing close by that I remember. About 5 miles from the fairgrounds which is not bad.  Nice hotel though with a killer breakfast. No parking in front of your room or anything like that. It is a true hotel kind of design. I'm kinda surprised they were allowed to build it with such limited parking and not just for trailers.  Google earth does show however, some potential for lets say, spirited driving.  Not that I'm in favor that.   Very childish behavior I feel.

Use google earth.... 1528 Commerce Avenue Carlisle Pennsylvania 17015 USA

BTW,  I payed $109.00 and I booked about 10 months ahead of time.  I booked online before you guys got the block of rooms as I wasn't sure you were going to go.

Kevin, from what I was told we can park on the grass, looking into it and will have more info tomorrow.
If trailer parking is no good, they we stay in the same hotel.

I would not mind giving this hotel a shot as long as we can pull head on up on the grass. When I was there last they wouldn't let you do that. So it looked like a problem if someone parked to close to you, you couldn't load or unload your trailer. Of course there would be a problem if there had been a lot of rain also.  Did you look at google earth yet? Certainly not as convenient as the Quality INN on many fronts but I understand the complaints about Quality Inn. Doesn't bother me as much as others but I'm easy to make happy as you all know. I just don't seem to find my room dirty. Dated maybe, but not dirty. Landscaping could be better but that doesn't effect my room.  I wouldn't stay there on my honeymoon but for what it is and what I'm doing there it suffices.

All,
I spoke with who I had too, I thinnk we will be better off where we are mostly because of the surrounding area and have to deal with the hotel we have.
Deal for the other on is the same but trailer parking could be an issue.

We will book the block of rooms next week or after that for GM Nats 15.
