We have had some sort of accumulation every day since the first of the year. I would love to just have 1 day without any snow so I can clear things up a bit. I have snow banks taller than my truck!

Today was cold! 19* outside and a whopping 22* at work! The heater ran out of oil during the night and it stayed cold till about 3. My bay was like a skating rink for most of the morning.

Oh well, Have a great weekend everyone and stay warm!

Not good Dave. I really feel for you. Hope it gets better soon. Been a really mild winter here as far as snow goes. Cold as a freezer but very little snow. I've keep records for over 30 years of snow fall. We can have a total of as little as 5 inches for the year or up to 70 inches. Just never know..

I have no idea how much has fallen, but still having snow of some sorts daily. Running out of places to put the snow. I already have a 5 ft wall of snow at the end of my Grandmothers driveway. Only 37 more days till Spring!

Hi Ma!!!! Were doing fine, but it is damn cold here!!!

Jim, Tim, the boys and I went to the Toy and Train Show Sunday, the highest we got was -5*, Rochester was at -1*, Yesterday -12*. If we ever hit 32* it will feel like a warn Summer's day!

And today was the first day since the 1st of the year we had no snow fall!!!! Still had to do a little clean up with the shovel, but that was easy!

I hope we don't go that high. We'll be flooded for sure. But it may give me a chance to get up on the roof and clean some of it off

Wish it would go over the freezing point. Best we have had is 26*.

Had to shovel off the roof at my parents house. Then came home to a mess in my driveway, Looks like an avalanche off my roof gave way.

Just got home from Syracuse. Had a great time go karting with Keene, Devin, Amanda, Josh, Tim, Matt and Jack. And we actually behaved! But that mall is HUGE!!!! And lack of parking delayed all of us. Can't wait till next month and were back on out home track.

Had to deal with a leaky basement wall. But that's fixed for now. Dying to get one of the Montes out and go for a cruise, but way too much salt on the roads.

keep an eye on those leaks Dave.
they can be a pain.

i need a lot of snow to melt so i can get the camper out of the yard for Easter weekend. 4-5' tall snow plow piles all across the driveway.

I suspect there will be a lot of wet basements this year. I did shuffle the cars in the garage last weekend, felt a little like Spring.

Yeah, I sealed most of it with hydraulic cement. The spot that was the worst, I tapped in a tube and it's running into the sink. Once we get dry weather, I will chisel it all off and run a tube into the drain tile.

Got the new Laz E Boy furniture today. Power recliner and power sofas. Gotta say they are very comfortable. Normally I've had to break in cushions for several weeks to get them comfy. These are 'NAP" comfy right out of the box. And I love the power recliner option.

Jim, That trans isn't much fun on a lift either. I just did an Impala last week and realized it was a long time since I had done one. LOL!

Nothing like working all weekend with food poisoning! Something Friday did not agree with me and has been eating away at my stomach since. Glad the other guys finally kicked it in gear and didn't leave me all the heavy stuff.

Weather is looking good for Thursday, might get the 01 SS uncovered and out for a good run.

Well, After 3 weeks of insane hours at work, 4 nights of training classes and multiple side jobs, I can finally get some work done on my 86 SS!!!

Tonight, I swapped out the starter and repaired the burnt fuseable links. Tomorrow, shocks, sway bar and transmission lines. Well, I hope to anyways.

Have a great weekend everyone! Weather is supposed to be nice!

Glad you guys had a good weekend Jim. Apparently, I spent mine wasting my time working on my car.

Tonight my whole world came crashing down!

Went to start the car to bring it home and it started to misfire, then the smoke out the tailpipe, by the time I got it out the driveway, the temp gauge was almost to 200. I can't believe this! 2 weeks before I head to Michigan for Super Chevy, all the work I have done is for nothing! I'm just hoping it's just the head gasket. IF the head is cracked, I'm screwed for this year!

Sorry to hear that Dave, I hope it is just the head gasket and you get back on the road.

Got the head off today. The gasket is torched! The fire ring around cylinder #2 is blown right out and the gasket looks like it was burnt.

The other end, is very close to being blown through and the center section has gotten pretty hot as well. I filled the chambers with brake clean and nothing leaked past the valves, so that's good. Monday or Tuesday I will get the other side apart. I will send them out to be checked for straightness, resurfaced and hopefully get it back together right after we get back from Michigan.

So hopefully I can keep this repair under $500.
