I saw the wrestler on DVD too,...I thought it was gunna be an epic drama...but as Rob said it wasn't bad but wasn't too great either...

Gran Turino Saw in the Movie theater when it came out...I thought it was simply awesome...some of it brought me back to the days of All in the family...

Saw transformers 2...wasn't as happy with it as I was with the first one...lotsa issues...mostly to many new characters without lotsa air time for each...IMO they tried to hard to out do the first one...

Most recently saw District 9....wasn't too impressed with it...kinda very slow start and then when it did pick up at the end it was too little to late....

Saw City of Ember the other night on tv (Which was wierd for me cause I don't watch TV to much) a good cross between a kids movie that adults can watch and be entertained as well...

I get new DVD's about every 2 months...while going to the movies when I have time...so yeah a decent movie buff here...

In the theaters it was the newest Harry Potter.
On DVD it was Tropic Thunder. That movie just cracks me up.

the closest drive it (like 30 minutes from me) does car cruises like once a month.  Never been though, but sometime I think it would be cool to go.

Not a huge disappointment, it depends on the perspective you want to see it in...

It touches very much on stuff like concentratition camps, and such kinda like the holocaust, or the Japanese Camps here during ww2...so if you go to see it in that perspective, then it's gunna be really good...

The special effects are awesome...you really believe there is a ship floating in the air...the weapons and there effects are amazing...

If your going to see it in the perspective of action and blowing stuff up...the beginning for at least the first hour or so is realllyyy slow...the real action doesn't happen till the end, and for me it just was not enough....

So I guess it depends on what your looking for, I have seen A LOT of awesome reviews about it...mostly cause the people going in to see it, were looking at it from the first perspective I stated.

I just saw district 9. I didn't care for it at all. One part was alittle funn the rest of the movie sucked. I think they could have made that movie in an hour and something mins instead of 2 hours.

OK since I'm a movie buff I will probably be posting in here a bit...

This weekend I saw Defiance on DVD...The movie was pretty good a bit long, but it does a pretty good job of keeping your attenetion...and the fact that it is based on a true story is pretty awesome...

Basically about 4 brothers who go into the woods to escape the Nazi's during ww2..while there, they come across others who are on the run, and the numbers begin to grow....and even though they built shelter the forrest they are in is so vast the nazi's have a hard time finding them....

That's about it wihtout giving it away, I say it was a B overall...

Joe
