Since 2003, I've done at least one "major" road trip each year to various areas of the United States to meet people and see family/friends....

As I've been planning this year's "major" trip, I've looked at SEVERAL (among other) places to which I have yet to "road trip".  SOMEDAY, I will get to all of these, but unfortunately, it will take a few years....

US northeast ... Maine, Massachusetts, Vermont, New York, etc.

US northwest ... Montana, the Dakotas, Oregon, Washington, etc.

US Route 2

US Route 20

US Route 50

The Lincoln Highway

The Dixie Highway

Neglected to mention earlier that I plan to travel to Jackson/Big Sandy/Nashville TN and Birmingham AL in October or November.  Would be cool to meet people during that trip!

Most-likely, this will be to the NE, including NY and Massachusetts, etc.  More details later....

cort, you'll love the holbrook winslow, flag trip. if you want a great place to eat downtown winslow there is a old hotel called the la pasada the food is amazing!
