Could it be true?
A friend of mine told me that Stewarts on Tilton road in Northfield NJ
closed for business. They were well known not only for their root beer
but for the Friday night cruise/meets.
Not as important, the Salad works near by also folded.
Another sign of the economy I guess.

i think they closed for the winter i will findout. you are welcome to come to my cruisenight at stewarts in tuckerton this sunday a 530 pm. we are there 1st and 3rd sundays of the month april till oct 17.
then in the winter we meet 1st sunday of the month at noon time by jerseymikes subs in tuckerton . if your intersyed in events up this way let me know i have tons in the works right now we have a event going on every sat and one fri in oct free cruise nights

Definitely an awesome place, wish there was one by us in si or in li...there used to be an A&W by me, where the waitresses came out and put the trays on the car windows and such....another cool place but long gone as well....

I was hopeing they were closing for the winter,but
my friend saw them moving out equiptment,
besides they usually are open all year due to the fact it is
an indoor establishment
A Stewarts in Williamstown NJ closed a few months ago,
but was reopened under another name, it was an oldstyle
drive in type much the same as Tuckerton
I live near the one in Hammonton I know they accept car shows
I belong to the Cruisin Classics car club and we had several
meetings there.
I may be able to come to your meet Sunday it is an open day
many club members went to Lancaster for the weekend.

Thanks Tony,

I had all intensions of coming but forgot I told a friend of mine
I would go to the airshow in Ocean City. He is up in years,
and wanted me to run his boat out to see the show off shore
he is ok , his wife don't trust him.
Hope to make the next one, but I will be at Flemings in November

i will also be at flemmings. by the way tonight is smithvilles last cruise for the year i was told. and another cruise off of rt 30 the dinner next to Kenndys bar in pamona
