Yes but alot of the "good stuff" was made in the years that qualified for the program.

Now they are gone forever!

I honestly don't believe to much of what I read on the internet....there's lotsa misinformation out there...

1.) Who knows if the dealer can tell the difference between a GN And a GNX....even if going by vin numbers

2.) Look at the list...there are a lot of 2006's, 2007's, 2008's on the list now come on do you reallly think people would go out and spend 25K-30K on a 2008 Arcadia, and then turn it in for a $4,500 rebate a year later?

3.) If it was a GNX, I'd like to see an actual picture of it, not a magazine shot...these cars can be banged up, dented, ripped seats, horrible interior and have over 100K-200K miles on them, I'm sure it wasn't a prestine 75K-100K GNX being traded in...Yes I agree people out there are stupid, BUT when it comes down to Cash, you'd be surprised how much smarter one can become....$4,500 over 75K isn't gunna do it...

4.) If it was a Prestine 75K GNX, don't you think a dealer would finagle getting it into his collection before it got on any list for Cash for clunkers?

All I'm saying is in this day and age of computers, when any Mo, Larry Or Curly can put up info. as a chain letter, don't blindly read it and react and send it on....Unlesss your the one doing the research and seeing it with your own eyes, take everything with a grain of salt....

Well this story is getting hotter..

it is just about on every car news related website.

http://rumors.automobilemag.com/6559954/miscellaneous/cash-for-clunkers-brought-in-exotics-oddballs/index.html

The GNX loss is even being repoted in Germany and Britian.

I got a call from my friend in Germany early this morning asking if it was true.

I doubt that it ever happened. Any Dealer would have given more than $4500 on the side and kept or resold the car for a profit.
