Booked the room the other day under NYMCC. They said that they only had 3 double rooms left and 30 king rooms left.

Sent my reg. in also. Frank, you have to register NOW. Can't register at show.

And Frank, for the people who don't know me on this forum would you please explain my rules to them.....

 My car will  be in the trailer and will be pulled out to be judged and then back in.  While out no one but judges can look at it and Houlie knows this.   I also do not talk about my car with anyone and I don't have friends and don't want any. 

HOWEVER,  Houlie not only loves to talk about his car and give personal tours of everything he did, he will give you a ride in it as often as you like....

you can register the day of the show it $20.00 instead of $15.00 for pre reg.

 Nope, only judges and only for the amount of time it takes to judge it.  No casual converstation about the car.  Just all business, no social talking......If I could just submit PICS and not the actual car, I would.....

its a shame Crusher doesnt want any friends (and I respect that) because he would make a good one. Cant wait to NOT see the car!!!!

BTW, can we look at the trailer? or is that off limits as well. Just look, no questions, no conversation.

Not really, there are a lot of advantages of being friendless.  I never have to help people I know move, etc, etc....  There is a difference of not wanting friends and people not wanting to be your friend.  I think I may have converted Houlie into not having friends.

Do you know where this whole I don't want, need friends started?

Every year when the NMCOA show was coming up and judging or classes were mentioned, there would be post after post about of why they attend.  For example, “I go for the friendship to meet new friends and see old friends.  See everyone’s car and talk about our hobby”.  Post after post after post about friendship and they don’t care about the awards.  Which of course we all know is BS.  At the show there were always complaints about who was in what class and that car shouldn’t have won, etc.

So I posted in direct contrast that I don’t care about friends or their cars and don’t need any new friends, I’m not there to socialize, etc.  That the only reason I go is for the awards and I want as many as I can get, etc.  That escalated into I don’t want anyone even looking at my car except judges, etc.  I also suggested that if no one really cares about the awards that Friendship rings should be given out instead.  That led to me being awarded the one and only NMCOA friendship ring AWARD that I promptly crushed with my foot……So that’s the story of why I have no friends and don’t want any. Now leave me alone and don’t even think about looking at my car.  However, even though none of you are now or will ever be my friend, I will accept grilled hamburgers and other assorted food if offered.  But rest assured it will not make you my friend.
