Ok, lets get started..

No matter sleet, nor rain, nor snow, nor cold… you can’t keep us from the yard

You know it’s going to be a good day when these are the first two things we see… and they were right next to each other. Like PB&J

Ok, so we can’t get enough of this machine

Better than a Uhaul with a Santa Fe

Quality Checked…

But not quality spelled

I looked, but couldn’t find the NOS

Toys for Clunkers

Cuttys

1st gen

Boogity, boogity, lets go racin boyz

Dave and I fell in love… Future Monte Hunter Ride

LS on stilts

I wanted the gear shifter

Tim and Dave show brings you this PSA… Only you can prevent RV fires

Testing out my future Man Cave when the little lady arrives

Dave depressed

I wished you could have seen how fast Dave got in there when I told him there was free Coke in the van lol

In the yard next door

We liked this one too

Has everything including the kitchen sink

And not one, but TWO fans

Tony, the Pontiac we believe was a drag car. had all the tow hooks in the front, the interior was striped and just had the driver seat. There were a bunch of tropheys in the car, which I thought were car show tropheys... intil Dave noticed what was in the fenders lol. Couldn;t tell what was under the hood.

I know nothing on the 54, maybe Dave does.

not sure Tony, it was out of the "yard" closer to the main building. I'm sure for a price it could be for sale lol

this one should be captioned " Hey! there was no Coke in there!" LOL!

Tony, that Pontiac was not there the last time we went, and it was in the area, you DO NOT ask about! That yard is on the Indian Reservation. They get pretty weird sometimes.

But yeah it was a cool looking car, Maybe next time when I can chat with the one guy again, I'll ask.

as for the 54, We spotted it in the other yard when we walked in. No access to it so very hard to get any info.

Ron, we went to 3 yards, the one with the old stuff is in Sanborn about 30 minutes from my place, the other two were in Buffalo again about 30 minutes away.

Tim, I'm starting to think we live in the Junkyard capitol of NY! LOL!

What's wrong...don't like a little snow??? I can't say I blame you guys for liking to travel when it's snowing...no way too much can happen, so with any luck the snow will be done by the time you guys make your trip here in March!

Hey, Snow is not a problem, just slows me down to the legal speed limit. Nothing stops the beast!!! Actually, I love driving in blizzards or Heavy rain storms . Ice storms are about the only thing that will keep me home.

Karen We'll be there in just about a month, Snow, rain sleet or whatever! nothing stops us. But I'm hoping we have a March weekend like last year, mid 50's and Sun!

Are my eyes deceiving me, or do I spot a 2nd gen MC (1976/1977?) right next to that 1st gen MC????

Great pics.  Too bad we won't have time to check out a junkyard or 2 when I'm in NY in August.....

Yeah too bad your not going to be here that long. I guess there are some yards in the Binghamton area that are decent. tim and I plan on heading to them in the Spring sometime

Yeah it's a 76, I went back and looked at the old pics, it had the emblem in the grille. I don't know why I thought it was a 75. I think there was another one back there that was.

Doug, I started a list too, I need to grab that trim piece for Mike, and I might grab a few things off those 5th gens while I'm there.

BINGO!

I KNEW it was a 1976 ... I could tell by the grill.   Heh ... and ya'll doubted me?  LOL!

Though ... admittedly, I thought it MIGHT be a '77 because I know people sometimes interchanged the grills between those years.  BUT ... even from that pic I quoted, I had a hunch it was a 1976, given the grill.  Yes, the '76 had the emblem in the grill and the '77 had the emblem as a hood ornament, but the actual grills were different between those years as well.....

:)

As for junkyards in Binghamton ... wish we had time.....  That certainly would be an entertaining stop...lol!
