20 years ago today! April 4th 1990, at approximately 3:30, I Purchased the 86 SS from East River Auto Sales in North Tonawanda, NY With just under 90,000 Miles on the odometer. A lot has changed through the years, From that first summer adding the CHEVROLET windshield banner and the red anodised stuff under the hood.
to the paint job in 95 with the custom decals
to dropping in the 350 and then lowering it a few inches
to today with the 4" cowl hood
All I can say is it will be more than another 20 years before this car gets a third owner!

Awesome, and Congrats, always great to reflect on a cars progress...and seen how you have grown with it ...both the good times and the bad ones...also makes ya realize how long ago it's been since ya got the car.
Wow, 20 years. That's pretty amazing. We have ours about 12 or 13. I know you have lots of good memories. What is it about these cars that's so addicting?

And Joe S, You know damn well where it came from! LOL!
Joe G, it also made me realise how much I have invested in it too! over $26K! Heck I could have had 3 or 4 stock montes for that!
Tim, yeah I had it out Saturday for a bit. Had to buy another battery too! This one was only 2 years old, but they wouldn't warranty it because they said I let it drain too long. But when ever your ready, I will be too.

This seems to be a prevalent "theme" of sorts with people I know...which is why I'm keeping my first car as long as possible. I've considered selling it a few times ... even now ... but I always end up keeping it. We'll see.
