central air units.

This is not so much a for sale post as it is trying to get info.

You guys are probably the most people I know here locally.  As a lot of you know we are building a house in Indiana and are moving soon.  We have already sold our house in West Islip and are currently residing at Wendys sisters house in Farmingdale.  Her sisters ex was going to install central air in the house and then they split.  There are 2 brand new units sitting here and have never been connected to electricity or refrigerant lines ran.  They are still attached to the shipping wood (strips).  I have no idea what these things are worth.  I was wondering if anyone here knows anything about central air or if you know anyone who does who might be able to give me more info on these units.

I'm sure if you pulled some manuf. numbers off the units and googled them it may give you an idea of their value.

Tried that.  I find some direct info to manufacturer as far as being older units but nothing current.  I am thinking they are approx 3 years old.

u need to know what size they are.  If i had to guess u might have a 5 ton and a 3 ton unit (compressor). You see it on side of the unit, you may have to pull the cover off.  Do u have the evaporater, or air handler,  the unit that is in the attic.  If u have both units it is easy to sell,  they are sold as a matched set

No. The house never had central air to begin with. He left before he even began installing. Units are just sitting outside. I want to say bigger of the two was 3.5 ton and smaller one is maybe 2 ton.

I was just figuring how somebody who knows somebody might help me here.

No problem.  They have been sitting there for at least a couple of years, I am sure it can wait.

ACU Split System Air Conditioners 1-1/2.   It was  4dea6zhxyxg vmade around 2005,  Not a central air unit.  Splits units can run 1-4 EVAPORATOR BLOWER.  They are very popular but w/o the blower unit it might be hard to sell.  Maybe $300-$500. just a guess.  Mc Quay is a good company, we use them all the time. I have not installed a split system of theirs.
