Hey everyone my mechanic said my purge soleniod needs to be replaced. I would like to do it myself. I know its on top of the motor (02 ss) but I'm unsure what it looks like. Does anyone have a picture of it I can't seem to find one online

remove the engine cover, follow the plastic vapor line, it will have a green cap over the fitting, that solenoid is for the purge, becarefull not to break the lock clips or you will have lots of Evap codes.

When I went to pull of the solenoid it came off very easily...didn't see any locking clip
