I just saw that the 2011 MC Nats will be in York PA.  I didn't see when the exact date was but it could be interesting since this years was the same weekend as the GM Nationals.  Could be interesting as York is a chip shot away from Carlisle.

GM NATS for us to.

I will never attend another NMCOA event again.
The GM Nats was so much better!! and theres many more reasons why.

There about 35 mins apart.

+ gm nats is not a members only show . where you pay the club 35 to join then 35 to show your car. i will only do shows like the gm nats or ones where the money goes to a cause not someones pocket. any show can be run on donations , greedy do it for their own gain

Now that's a healthy looking group of ladies....

GM Nationals for me, maybe next year I'll even be able to take my Monte. Lol if its not a big crumbled mess in the driveway.. Gawd forbid..as Houlie would say. At least next year I'll fell better and will at least be able to walk some of the show.

I think I will take the Z34 to the GM Nat's next year as well. I've always wanted to show one of the cars there and I'd rather drive the Z34 there than the Laguna.

Just made my reservations with the Quality Inn under NYMCC. They said there are still 5 rooms left in the block and that the rooms are in no one location and are spread out according to room type. I'm arriving on Thursday this year so I can spend Friday at Carlisle checking out stuff.....

Not so grasshopper. When I booked 5 days ago I was told there were still 5 rooms left. And that was after bugman booked his rooms. I made a post about it in the other thread....

actually when I called they said there was a frendly fellow that I could bunk with, so there will be about 7 people in Crushers room biggrin.gif


Seriously, either not everyone above that said they booked, actually booked, or the hotel just kept taking names for NYMCC beyond the 15 that was initially reserved.

I believe there are are a few on the list above that have not confirmed with the Hotel... That being said, come on people call the hotel and confirm your room if your on the list, so others do not end up reserving under NYMCC.

 you may have reserved a room but it couldn't have been under the NYMCC block of rooms as they didn't exist at that time.

Strange Cause I did ask for one of the rooms under the NYMCC the guy said ok you got it...maybe he didn't guess I'll call and double check, if that';'s the case there will be one more room to reserve for some one I guess...

GM Nationals for me..... In fact the First Generation Monte Carlo club will be holding their "Eastern Meet" at that show for 2011.....so expect the First Gen's there in number biggrin

I think we had 28 First Gen's this year so next year will be crazy!!!

Angela,,,,some clarification please. Just want to make sure that NYMCC members get the block of rooms and you guys don't have a problem because you didn't fill the block.  I had reserved a room when I left but changed the reservation over to the NYMCC block after Angela's July 12th post at the top of this thread.

I do believe it will be the same hotel they had this year...which if I heard correctly..is where the NYMCC stayed. Don't know the name, I only made it to Carlise for the Saturday this year (Black 72 with red pinstripes). Planned on making the weekend next year..wooo hoo
