Anyone had a recall letter for a engine compartment fire?? I called the dealer and they told me it takes 20-25 min.. What is it thats causing the fire?? Funny i saw on the news today about someones truck bursting into flames that had a recall and the previous owner never brought it in.. This is my 3rd letter so i guess i better bring it in..hmm

I got it too, basically all the want to do is remove the wire separator cover because they hold oil and could ignite a fire.

Thanks for the info guys.. I talked to Tom about earlier too.. They probably not gonna want to touch my car when they see its been modifyed especially the short dog bones lol...

I brought the car in for the recall today and thats what it was.. they removed the wire cover and replaced it with these wire loom snap separator.. The thing is is if a fire was to happen theres plastic everwhere anyway..
