I have owned my 1981 Monte Carlo Turbo for the past 25 years. It was a Hemmings Muscle Machine's feature in the May 2005 edition. It can be viewed on this web site: http://www.hemmings.com/mus/stories/2005/05/01/hmn_feature3.html?t=printable I am wondering who else has one out there? I presently am restoring an 1966 Chevy II SS and finished a 68 Camaro Convertible a couple years ago. I guess I am a Chevy guy but like all classics.
Welcome aboard!! Turbo models are a rare find these days, wish they would have kept them going through out the 4th gen run, maybe they could have been built with the Buick T-type motors by then.

Thank you all. My car is also featured on the Before Black site http://home.flash.net/~rjgeorge/montecarlo2.htm They made 3,027 turbo Montes in 1981. It is a pre 3.8 litre carbureted Grand National motor and came from the factory in my car. It is only 170 horsepower but was the most you could get in a Monte in '81. It was second to the Corvette at only 195 horse.
