Well this past Saturday I put the car away for the winter. The dollies that I bought was a good concept until 1 broke on me when I was trying to move the car.
I took the wheels off and put the original ones on. All but one. I have a cheap lock set and the key is warn down. The one lock lug on the passenger rear tire is chewed up and I could not get the wheel off!! I even took it down the street to Monro to see if they would have any luck with it. Nope! So the car is not on dollies and still has one chrome wheel on. Oh well. I give up for this year.
Dave schedule me in for a side job in early spring! Gasket change (where its leaking, new themostat -might as well while were in there, see if the wheel can be removed). It should only take about an hour for you with all that!! haha. Tim and I will time you.
gettin ready....
wheels swapped. well 75%.
tucked in. Don't mind the car seats.
oh sure, next week is supposed to be sunny and possibly in the low 60's. Well at least its done.
LOL! Yeah that's my plans for this weekend as well. I'm hoping the weather is decent enough to clean the car 1st, it still has water and mud from the Applefest show!
And I can get that wheel lock off, but you'll never be able to use it again. yeah swapping out that T-stat is easy. We can do that in the spring, plus any other goodies you pick up over the winter months.

Eeegads ... I hate this time of year ... at least, in terms of putting cars to sleep for the winter.
Mine are still out ... drove them a bit today and now have over 1,000 miles on EACH of them for the year! Hopefully we will have some more driving days before the salt flies.....
