Automotive Commercials, old & 2011 + SB fact

Amongst taking pictures, snow shoveling, and a few other things done during the "Blizzard 2011 Snow Day" I had, Wednesday, February 2, 2011, I found myself watching old car ads online.  It's not like I didn't have other things to do ... it was just a cool way to spend a part of the day.  I noted a bunch of my favorites; the results are the links below.


At the end, I'm including a few 2011 Super Bowl commercials....  I had hoped my Dad's home-town Steelers would win, but the Green Bay Packers win includes one person that connects to the 1985 Chicago Bears, who won the 1986 Super Bowl 25 years ago ... Wayne Larrivee.  Wayne was the "voice of the Bears" in that 1985 season and, 25 years later, he was the voice of the Packers for their win this year....

Indeed.

The best thing ... for me ... was that the kid has a CHD. I've read that his Mom was hoping the commercial would get more awareness for CHDs. Problem is ... the CHD was NEVER mentioned in the commercial, which was a bit disappointing to me. I'm not sure, then, how she was hoping it would help bring more CHD awareness....
