I'm out for the Frontier. I may look for a hotel on or near the strip that is trailer friendly. For this show I would rather be closer to the action. If I go I will probably register for the show itself at the inlet.
Our trailer from last year is already booked for the entire Month so I got AA05 instead. Neighbors with the Sqizz's!!! I hope it is not a grumpy old couple in AA2. Maybe its a couple of strippers!!!!
see i booked the same trailer so you guys would have great trailer parking.... i'm not sure what grumpy old Crusher is worried about for trailer parking..lol
but it will be more pleasent without him there, plus we won't have to feed him.lol
oh also a good friend of mine said there is a real good restaurant down the road by the Sunoco we always get fuel at. maybe we can try it this year.

I would really just like to be closer to the action. Not a trailer issue. It just seemed to me the last and only time I stayed at the Frontier that 90% of the time we never left the campground. Plus I want to get to the inlet even if I don't have my car there but I think I would register it. Searching hotels now.
Just let me know what time the BBQ is so I can be on time....lol
Just booked My Trailer, I am in AA00 first time I'm on the water, lol...Booked the Friday 7th-Sunday the 9th...Depending on work, if I can't get the day off, I may leave after work @5PM on the Friday.

HA, HA... funny because that is the 1st trailer they were going to give us. I am glad you will be with us.... we can keep a closer watch on you just kidding...just kidding... we will worry about that at a later date...not to worry.
John, it will take you longer then driving only because you need to get there at least a half hour before departure and of course the trip on the ferry it self. The cost would probably be more then the fuel you would use to drive the long route. By how much I don't know. With my annual DE Corvette Crab trip we drive the scenic route to DE and then we take the ferry back. It is a nice relaxing trip on the ferry at the end of a hectic day.
It's a no brainer for Tony as he lives much closer to the Ferry then any of us...

According to my Google - Fu to get to OC via the ferry is approx 4.5 hours drive time, with an additional 1.5 hr on the Ferry. The Drive from Chester to OC is approx 7 hours with stops for lunch and fuel. the Ferry will cost approx $70 for my truck and trailer, less for a shorter rig and cars. Mileage taking the ferry is approx 240 vs. 290 miles driving. No real savings for fuel. So, sounds like the question is, is the $70 worth a relaxing 1-1/2 hour cruise instead of an extra couple of hours on the road? Sounds tempting......
