they are just decals, I make them for the 06+ Impala, not sure if the Monte is the same. I can check the GM part numbers when I get home.

You can get them on ebay, usually run around $10 (thats what I sell them for)

its a cut out decal? so as u hit the brake the light goes thru the cut out of the word monte carlo?

ive seen one once that specially in eveining u will see the word monte carlo lit up on the third brake light

yes, its cut vinyl, can put whatever you want in it.

after some research, it looks like the 00-05 Impala, 00-05 Monte and 06-07 Monte all use the same 3rd brakelight. (GM part number 10319332) So with that said, I make overlays for all of them. It requires the removal of the assembly to install. Its only 2 nuts, 10mm I think. I include instructions with each purchase.
