clutch pedal very very hard to move
Permalink Closed

I'm running a zoom Kevlar clutch kit http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ZZZ-HP5505-1/ and a Lakewood Scattershield. wc T-5 Hydraulic from a mid 80s f-body powered by a 400+hp small block. (and I know the t-5 will blow up but it was free). 1st Pedal was a mod f-body, and it was very hard to move. So I bought a gsi pedal and it is the same. I pulled the trany to ck everything. It looks good. But the pedal is so hard to move.

I hope that summit didn't recommended the wrong clutch for me.

assuming it is the hydraulic clutch, maybe the connection in the line isn't right. I had a S-10 that the quick clip didn't seat and it was like stepping ona brick. Other than that, I'm really not sure.

I picked up a longer pivit ball. It has a 3 inch long thread on it.   I hope it works.   If that  doesn't do it, I will get a hydraulic throwout bearing.
