They are not that hard to do, But you will need a few things. Hog rings, the hog ring pliers, A Tech II and the correct weights to reprogram the occupant classification sensors in the seats for the air bags.

you have to remove the seat, impossible to do it without.

Hog rings and pliers, most auto parts stores, $20

Tech II, ebay, $2500-$5000

Nice seats Tim, Like those better than the ones in the 01.

Jon, The Supplimental Restraint Computer needs to know the weight classification of the passenger [IE. Child, small or large adult], the position of the seat and that the seat belt is latched. Otherwise, the air bag will not set off in the proper stages in an accident. Whenever the seats are disconnected, for whatever reason, they need to be retrained. Installing new seat covers will change the tension on the occupant classification sensor in the lower cushion. The only way to retrain the sensors is with a Tech II. If the passenger positions are not retrained, the Air Bag light will stay on and then none of the air bags will deploy inan accident.

Yes, but basically the easiest solution is to just swap them with stock leather seats, or send them to a professional
