just got my letter from chevrolet, stating (with vin) that this car is # 7 off the production line.<3

 called GM customer service & just asked. They only have the production # because its a special edition.supposed to have a certificate but original owner still has it

can't you find the original owner and ask them for the certificate? or have GM make another?

The dealership I bought the car from contacted their guy that deals with auctions and stuff. According to them & carfax there was only 2 regestered owners. The original & a dealer in jersey. He said the last place to have it was a auction in Jersey (probably from the dealer) I'm calling back today to see if they got any results.

ive wanted to find out how many 06/07 ss they had made.. would be cool to see if i could find where abouts mine was made  during the production

production date should be on the SPID label or on the door jam labels, will give you a rough estimate. You can also have a dealer print out a production sheet for your car, had one for my 04 Impala SS
