If your not a NASCAR fan, then this is not the trip for you. We managed to spend 4 days traveling, catching a car show, seeing race tracks and other NASCAR related things. The Monte Hunters have listened to NASCAR history, saw NASCAR history and even made NASCAR history. I took over 350 pics, so I am breaking this down in 4 parts. Caution! LOTS of pictures

Day 1

Friday morning Matt, his friends Jack and Cam, and I headed down the road to North Carolina. We met up with Tim in Rochester. Weather was perfect for traveling. The price of gas is about 50-55 cents a gallon less than here. That saved us a lot of cash!

First pitstop. And did we get compliments

Lunch at Hardee's in PA

13 hours later we came upon Martinsville Speedway. Tim pulled some strings and we were able to get right up to the fence to get pictures.

Back on the road and there were cops everywhere

Another 3 hours and we finally made it to the hotel. We then wondered down to the Hooters for dinner. Then walked accross the street to check out the used cars at the dealerships. And of course, Tim and I spotted a Monte in the dark
