Don't forget to mark your calendars!  August 17th is our cruise to Montauk point! Lets bring them montes out and show the road who's boss!wink

 

Anyone know of a good central area for a meetup before the cruise? Maybe somewhere in the Medford/Patchogue area right off of Sunrise HWY? 

Time?

Im in

Just east of 112 on the Sunrise Service Road is a Party City, we can use their lot. Its easy on to the Hwy from there. Im sure western peeps will have their own spot and cruise into the Party City area.

next year then keane! :) I love cruising out there, mainly because its one of the few stretches of road you can seriously 'drive' on LI, and if you like the ocean and tropical stuff its perfect. its different from upstate here, not much open road!

I do want to go to Montauk point one day, but its quite far and the 18th there is a meet near me anyway, so not this time.

Meet up spot, Party city (just off of rt 112, on sunrise)

Meet up by 3pm, leave by 3:30-3:45pm.

Will be great to have you, but if you are using a map to determine how long the trip will take, guess again. Its only like 60 miles from the meeting point, but could take up to 2+ hours to get out there. Lots of small towns to go through.

 

We will prob be doing an Orient Point BBQ in 6 weeks (1st week in Oct normally). Even though its about 50 miles from meeting point, its a straight run with limited stops and we get there in about 45 min.

Yeah mapquest tells me 1.5 hours to the meet point, but i'll probably leave at 12:30 to be there by 3:30 lol

Its prob more like an hour, without traffic I make it to the NJ Meet in 1hr 15min and this spot is like 10 min from me closer to you

Yes, we have 1 f scotts radios, Joe, the meet time is now 4.30, this way Doc & MD can join us!
So if you are at my house by 4pm we will be fine, 15 min drive to meeting spot!
