Hey Guys! It's coming up on that time again. The Monte Hunters 3rd annual Spring Track day! LOL!

Sunday April 13th, Tim, Matt, the boys and I will be heading to Watkins Glen for opening weekend. Meeting at the gas station just off the I-90 exit 42 for 8:30 AM.

Everyone is welcome to join us. It costs $25 for 3 paced laps of the track. Average speed is about 60MPH, but it is still a lot of fun to get the cars out and shag them on the track. After the laps, we hang out at the track checking out cars, then it's off to the Burger King in town for lunch and everyone goes their own way after that. 

Last year we had 13 cars and hope to beat that this year.

Anyone interested in going let Tim or I  know.

Glad to see you guys are coming again!

Devin, I was going to ask you if you were coming in from the back side. I think we need a larger meeting spot that that hotel like last year.

Lets meet at the state park entrance. There is a large enough parking lot for all of us. How's that sound??

As for the time? How about 9:30?

I'm actually not sure where the state park is! haha Know the address?

If you want there is a shopping enter with a CVS and Advanced Auto store not far past the turn off up that big hill to the Glen. If it is easier

The park is between the Burger King and the hill upwards. But Advance will work too. Is it up the hill or below the hill?

Below the hill right in town on that main drag we come in on. It's called the P&C Plaza (as there is a P&C grocery store there). Advanced auto address- 504 S Franklin St, Watkins Glen, NY 14891. It's easy to find, when you see Burger king keep going a half mile-ish and it'll be on your left

Yes Matt with his 200 are def planning on going! Another Monte guy from Syracuse is planning on going in his 14' Toyota Camry as well so he would be meeting you guys off Exit 42

Devin, one of my guys will be meeting you at the plaza. He drives a Route 66 edition PT Cruiser. There spending the weekend in Binghamton with relatives.

I think we will be at the 2nd meeting place for 10-10:15. I forgot, this will be the same weekend as the charity bike run. Last year we were stuck in traffic for a while.

Yeah, Tim said it should be in the 60's. Can't wait, we should have about 7 cars from Buffalo. Tim and possibly Dave and Dave Jr from Rochester. Haven't heard anything about Matt yet.

Sounds good! they are even talk about it pushing the 70 degree mark!
So the only ones coming from down here are Keane, Amanda, Me and your PT cruiser buddies, so 4 cars. My 200 buddy isnt sure if he can make it yet, but he would meet up with us in the plaza.
Also have one coming from Syracuse who would be meeting you guys off exit 42 in a black Camry. Will let you know if he is 100% going this week

What a day!!!! Weather was perfect! 16 cars from 3 different clubs blended together, we didn't get yelled at, and we were allowed to tear up the tack this time! Lunch was fun and well, let's just say we behaved in Walmart, sort of, I'm sure Amanda is still red.

Thanks to everyone for showing up and making so much fun today.

Same time Next Year??? Hell Yeah!!!

Keane, Really glad you made the long haul in! We only get to see you once a year so it's always great when your there.

Devin, Always a fun time! And I'm sorry if Amanda is still red. Didn't mean to embarrass her, but it was too easy. When we get a Rochester Junkyard trip going, you guys have to come with us.

Matt and Tim, We need to get our summer plans going. We started the year off right, lets keep it going!

And Chris! If you ever get a chance to jump back on here, It was great to finally meet you! Hopefully next year the Monte will be there!!
