Yes i did. and I picked the wrong holes. The 22 degree offset holes are smaller. To use them i would have to drill them out and weld nuts to the back off the bellhousing. Or fix the mount. I can get a steel plate tig welded to the crossmember. What to do?
My new set back is the headers. The g-body type fits the pass side but not the driver side. Then the f-body fits the driver side but not the pass side. I still have to check it with the steering shaft. all this because I wanted that lakewood bellhousing So my choices are to buy two sets of headers, make my own, or have it made.
Did a little more work to the car today. Put the steering box back in and installed the jeep steering shaft. Test fitted the driver side header and it will be a f-body.
Wow Rob nice finesse with the cross member, your such a perfectionist, Its like a fine art.
How long were you working on those body mounts for? Real smart idea tho! gotta love that NY salt.
FYI: its mike your cousin, I've been keeping tabs on this page but nothing new ever showed up, until today I got this great idea to refresh the page. and BAM there it was a second page lol.
so more work on the car was done. I got rid of the fish bowl and replaced the the lights with a set of h4. Put the rad from a f-body in and some more painting. I'm sending the headers out to be coated
look closely at the last 2 pictures the area between the rh headlight lines up with a mark on the wall of your garage. i was staring at it this morning and it was messing with my eyes.
