Small World
I have a story that I think is funny.
Many mornings on my way to work, while driving my JG Monte Carlo SS, I pass a Black 2006Monte Carlo SS with a V-8, with silver ground effects coming the opposite way. As she is passing me, I waive at her and she waives back.
One day, I saw her pulled into the Stewarts shop, we both pass, so I pulled in, and introduced myself and I was telling her about joining the monte carlo sites I am on. She did not seem interested, but we talked a bit about our cars and stuff. So we both went on our way.
So, we continue to waive at each other when we pass each other.
Well, then in October, we took our camper to Fleetwood RV park in Charlotte for the Nascar race. The day after we were there, the people we were with, noticed the camper behind us, camping was someone he knew, cause she drives in a hobby class at the local Albany/Saratoga Speedway where his step-son drives a modified.
When she came over to speak to him, I looked at her, and she looked at me, and she said to me, Aren't you the one who drives the Jeff Gordon Monte Carlo? And I said yes, and then I realized it was the woman I waive at many mornings, who drives the Black Monte Carlo. We both laughed. I guess it goes to show you how small this world is, us going 800 miles to camp next to each other.

Thats cool, it's always fun to met up with people, even more fun when you see them out of state. When we went to Mertyl Beach last year, we were goofing off and checking out some of the beach front property. One guy that was staying there looked at me and said "are you from Buffalo? and own a white Monte SS?" Naturally I freaked a bit ane then I recognised him from one of the local cruises. My wife said, "Only you could be 5 states aways from home and know somebody!" LOL
