Anyone go to the show in Lake George??
I went, a last minute sort of thing...
Saw quite a few Monte's, mostly white. We parked next to a parking lot that an orange cutlass in good shape was in (but it looked like it was roller painted... The guy who brought it put on quite the smoke show, not bad for a v6 I guess. A few monte's parked next to him, one, for sale, was in really, really nice shape. It was a black 87 I think the guy wanted 3500 for it. Even the interior was clean. The whole show was pretty fun except for the asshat who parked his big (compensating) uggy green dodge in front of everyone who was watching the smoke show. Oh, and the pregnant girl who gave me a dirty look 'cause apparently I was in the bathroom far too long... Or maybe she thought I was interested in her man?? I *was* looking at his car only because I thought it looked pretty clean.
Oh yeah, there was also a nice Monte driving around, looked like silver on bottom (or metallic light blue) with black on top. Nice wheels too. It was pretty quiet.
Saw a couple of those "Pro-Stock" cars, which were nice, a really wicked sounding orange S-10, a lopey, loud black drag car that apparently ran on pump gas, a drag Malibu I think, and loads of other cool stuff.
There was one guy who did have a blow up doll and he waved the poor thing at every passing car...people were just generally pretty rowdy and funny. I hate to say, the mustangs showed everyone up in the smoke show though...

I was there. I didnt end up bringing my car though because of the weather. A guy I know had his 87 Monte aero coupe there. The show was really nice even though Sat. was rainy but I got to relax drink some beer and hang with a bunch of friends.

It was a really nice show. Even with the rain! I think I saw that Monte cruising around for a short while. It was the only aero there right??
That show is my favorite of the year, and is far better than the little shows they have around here. Next time I will bring some beer though (and hopefully the Monte, the block is at the machine shop right now. )

I missed it, cause I realized it was a Friday and Saturday, so I was working on Friday. But next year, I intend to put in for it early and get the day off.
I am gonna miss the one in Ballston Spa on October 12. If you wanna go to that one, there are over 200 cars there. You can sign up for it the day of.

They just had a car show in Johnstown, Tuesday night, but I could not go, again. I freaking work there and I could not go. Too many things going on.
Chelle, send me details on the Lake George one for this year.
