i can't wait.ok we made some headway on saturday we got the wall down.here's the 35 foot beam my brother mad to hold the roof up plus we had to jack the one end of the roob up 10" to get it level.
and here's some of the wall going down
and there my baby watchung the progress of her new home...lol
and here it is no more wall and today we're going to build the new one.

here's some pic of the back fill getting done
and here she is trying out her new home.
ok here's some pics on saturdays work
and check out the size of this heater 600,000 btu's
in just under 4hrs the wall was built and today we'll be laying the roof rafters and hopefully plywood.
it looks smaller now with both walls up but atleast i'll have a garage "FINALLY"
well we got alot done today and yes that heater is awesome.plus i got 20 gallons of diesel fuel today for 4 free which is good since this heater uses 4 gallons an hour.here's some very good progress pics from today with some help from my 3 brothers and my brother in law who is up from FL for the holidays
oh and don't pay any attention to the NON approved OSHA safety work habits...lol
my brothers got the wood all done around the windpws and doors and they got the roof overhang done on the one side.we were supposed to work on it today but mother nature changed that.check out there custom scaffolding.
well hopefully this saturday my garage floor will be poured FINALLY we got the forms in place and the expansion stuff all in place last night.
well today i got my floor done.it cost me more then i thought but it was worth it they did a great job but for $3,000.00 they better have. so here are some pics of it.
and here's how it looks all done
well this weekend me made some very good progress.
and here's 2 of my crazy brothers at work.
YEA the first sheet of plywood on the roof .the stack of plywood has been sittting there for 14 months
and Yes i was on the roof working also.here's some shots from up high of the surroundings.
ok here's a few more pics.
here's my one brother holding up the whole wall it looks like..lol
and here i just had to see what it looked like with some windows in it.
ok here's a few other pics here's what the wall facing the house will look like
and they said let there be lite making room for the new window
and here's the new window it's a 48x48 slider
and here's a few to show why i added the garage to the shed i incorporated my old workshot into the new garage
and here's my sign i bought even before i started to build the garage.
ok today me and my one brother got the drain done in front of the garage.i already had the pipe buried last year along the foundation.
and here she is for her first time in the garage on concrete.
with her backed 3 1/2 feet in i still have 18' left behind. FINALLY it has a freaking roof.it took the 3 of us 12 hrs yesterday to do the whole roof.we also had to use a special gun that shoots nails into the steel rafters because all that rain we had messed up some of the plywood so we had tp renail all the plywood again.
and here it is done it's too big to get all in one picture and you can't see it from the ground
and it's first liquid on it.i had a opps while i was cleaning up
and here's a few pics from the ground i looks like a tornado went thru...lol
well after a long weekend we made some great progress all thou we hada bit of trouble yesterday.we found out that 2 of the windows i bought 8 months ago wouldn't fit the opening so Lowes took them back and i got 2 more of a different size and my brother had to frame the openings smaller.but it's all weather tight except for the from wall.
ok me and my 12yrs old got the last MAN door installed on the garage all that is left is the overhead door which me and my bro in law will be working on this saturday. here's the one we just did and the old opening closed up
here's the wall facing the woods
and all i have to do is build doors for the tractor end ugggg i want this thing done.
well we got the garage door installed. since we sort of customized the door track it took alot longer then it should've we cut the top track and welded it to the upright track so the door will go up 18" taller then it should've it was worth it since the door is way up out of the way.
here's where we cut and welded the new pieces back on.
and the finished door.
it's been a busy week off here which is good i'm getting alot done.yesterday me and my son swapped out all of my toold from my old box into my new box and we got some tools together for his small tool chast my uncle gave him.it's a old craftsman rolling chest but he's happy with it and the tools i gave him nut he's only 12 so he has time to get more tools...lol
here's my old box
and here's the new one plus my son has his sitting next to mine.
got another step closer to being done.i built the big step or landing to go from the shed to the garage yesterday and got more stuff cleaned up and organized.
after almost a year i finaly have doors again for the shed where the tractor goes and we got some of the aluminum done for arouns the door way.and also started the trim around the other doors.
well we went back to work on the garage on saturday.we insulated over half of it but we ran out on insulations.my brother will get me some more insulation so we can finish.we doubles up the insulation on the walls so they're R22 now and the ceiling is foil faced R19.
then we got the aluminum capping done on the door ways and they turned out very nice.

wow what a weekend worked on the garage and shed doing a lot of wiring.i estimated that i ran almost 300feet of wire but i think it's more.i added around 25 outlets all 10 of the 4' lights are up.i installed a 56" ceiling fan on a 5 speed controller,i added a motion flood light on the back of the garage and 2 motion lantern lights on the front and i'll be adding a halogen flood light above the garage door today.and another flood light on the rear on the building.what a lot of wiring i redid most of thed wires so that they go thru the rafters and no exposed and rewired both fuse panels and moved and added more light switched.th greates parts about the whole thing is i have only around $100.00 total in all of the electric plus that counts all of the wiring/lights and all the outlets.i got a lot of it from my uncle when i helped him move and also a few Demolition jobs with my brother.but i did splurge and buy the fan for another $74.00.well anyway here are some pics of all the work.
eww look shiney fan..lol
this is the fan control
worked intio the night to get the lights done
also cleaned up the shed a bit and got all of my tools together in the cabinets and my roll out workbench finally cleaned off forthe first time in over a year.

we got the shed ceiling all insulated .it should be a lot easier to keep heat in now.it was a pain to do since we had to pack out all of the rafters to 16" to get the insulation to fit.here's the pics of the warmth.

Here's some more pics of the work me and my brother did.we got the whole ceiling insulated in the shed and I rewired the tractor room. I added a 3 way light switch and hid all of the wires up in the ceiling for a cleaned look. BOY what a PITA doing a 3 way switch wiring but i got it done. I am so tired of running wires but I only have 1 outside light and outlet to do and I should be done the wiring FINALLY.
look the poor car had to take one for the team and sit this one outside in the snow because we needed the room.
and here's is the finished insulation
and the wiring mess
and here's the mess i need to clean up.

Well I know I was Christmas today, but after the kids got done opening stuff. Me and one of my brothers decided to build me a work bench and get the cabinets moved from the shed. Here's the pile of lumber i already had sitting here.
Here's the cabinets we hung.
And here the pile of lumber is all gone.
Over 200 screws holding it together so I don't think it will fall apart..lol tomorrow I'll go get the peg board for between the cabinet and the 3/4" plywood for the 2 shelves. The bench it 12' long and 2' deep and it's 41" high and built like a brick poop house..lol
And the whole time she had to sit outside in the cold but it's all worth it in the end.
