The motor is in the car (late Jan 2008). There is still a lot to do. I have to make a few adjustments too because the headers are sooo close on the passenger side frame rail that I could barely fit a piece of paper through. Sorry for the slightly blurry picture.
I didn't beat the daylight so the pictures and videos will have to wait until this weekend. I did snap this poorly lit picture. I still have to shim the starter, tinker with the choke and do a bit of detail cleaning.
I used this thread to document the installation of my new motor and components. The 305 was only nine years old but the Monte was due for the 350 upgrade it always should have had. The goodies that went in are as follows:
