its closed he hold a show in it every year . he also gets in old cars alot. he dont sell to the public. i am a friend of his so i can get what i need . he does like to trade stuff

and whats with the Grilles on those Rivieras? They Must be indistructable or something! Tim and I counted atleast 8 at the one yard 2 weeks ago and they all looked like they could be cleaned up and used again.

Ya know ... as painful as some of those are to see ... they ARE kinda cool.... I don't know why, but I enjoy looking through junk yards in person or in pics ... and wonder what kinda "life" the vehicles had ... and what led to them landing in the junk yard.....

Funny you mentioned that Cort, We have had simular conversations as we wondered through the yards. "Why is that here?" Wonder how long that one has been here?" "Who would have done this to that one?" Mostly we discussed history and how rare a car may be. But never thought of the life it once had.

It is definitely so true....to think of where these cars may have or may have come from....at one time they were someones brand new car and pride and joy...did they travel across country? were they just a grocery getter? were are there owners now? How many owners did they have? All cool things to think about....Not to many junk yards by me, so when I do go to the pumpkin run, I'm gunna be like a kid in a candy store....lol...
