i'm surpried Ford didn't release a tool kit with the Mustang so the owners can hamer it themselves lol
Any idea how much that would cost?!!! Cheaper to pay mechanics .50 hours to do that under warranty time.
i thought it was all about stealing... i mean making money. they could give them a hammer and put it in a pleather case with the mustang logo on it and charge the customer $100. and people will buy it... not only for the TSB but on the collectability factor lol
Latest issue from Toyota is there trucks the tacomas and tundras from like 2000 there frames are beginning to rot out...even being accused of destroying evidence showing it...There under investigation...
I worked at a factory that made the passenger side doors, body side, and tailgate for the GM U-Van (Lumina, Trans-port, Silhouette). We made those parts from start up to finish of vehicle run. I had to laughwhen I read an article in a magazine that tested all 3 vans and said 2 out of the 3 had a rattle in the passenger side front door. I knew what it was. The door would hang on a conveyor and was held steady by a 6" spring loaded clip. The proper way to remove the door was to remove the clip then lift the door off. Usually though we would just force the door off and the clip would fall inside the door.
I also had to laugh at the commercials that said to ask for genuine GM parts. The parts we would send out for body repair were parts that would not pass quality control but we fixed with bondo and such.
