New Plates, New Fees

I already pay for my custom plates, but now NY State is issuing new plates and is requiring everyone to pay $25 for them, trying to up revenue....Rediculous....even worse there hidious IMO....how many more fees are we going to need to pay???

OHHHHHH NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

It's one thing that we have to pay even more money for stupid stuff like this, but I have one major beef with this... Now granted I like the plate, like the old orange and blue plates and this brings a modern version of this.... but it doesn't go with GREEN!!!!!!!

oh and another thing... I know we talked about the ability to use dated period plates on you classic... but how does this comments go into play

“If a cop sees old plates, they know the person hasn’t reregistered and also that they don’t have new auto insurance.”

thats the last thing I need is to have a cop pull me over for no reason... adn even worse give me a ticket for something while they stoped me.

Tim atleast they are mostly gold! Think how crappy they will look on my White with Red car??


I don't think a cop will pull you over, It being a classic car registured as a classic car, they will have to allow for it. Now you have me thinking I'd better find a set of the old Liberty plates. They were white with red.

I did find my set of Liberty Plates...

and PALEEEEEEEEAAAASSEEEEE!!!!!!! White, black and silver go with everything... stop complaining lol

Yeah White Black and Silver do, But Blue and yellow don't go with white!!!

That yellow does not really match my yellow on my tires. It needs to be brighter. Besides, I have the special Jeff Gordon nascar plate, what are they gonna look like in that color? Or are they not going to change? Does anyone know?

i believe so too, but the special NY plates, like the falls or Vets ones with the blue across the top will change at a later date
