Wow...glad to hear all you had to deal with was a some trees down out back! I love the pic of the day before the storm blew in! I can't believe how much water those on the water front had to deal with...ugh...that really stinks when you have to deal with flooding! How far from where your house is was all that water?

We had it really bad too. I stayed at my aunts last night and the water came right up to the house this morning. My Dad and I had things undercontrol. Only the porch got flooded. Knock on wood.
Tony, I saw that you guys got hit on the weather channel this afternoon, I was wondering how you faired. Looked pretty bad on TV, Glad you made it through OK.

Glad to hear ya only had to deal with a few trees down!
Sucks for the peoplee who got flooded though...I always wanted a house on the water but along with the ups, you must also take the downs of being flooded when storms come in....not sure if it's a good trade off...
I live 30 feet off the Delaware River. My basement floor is 5ft below the high tide mark! Only got seepage a few times in 35 years! The road out front floods to about a foot sometimes, but the sump pumps keep the water out, unless electricity goes out! Had to sandbag once about 20 years ago during hurricane Hugo.
Living on the water is sooooo soothing, and in the summer we are always ten degrees cooler than uptown. Always a breeze, very nice!
