We just purchased a 86 Monte Carlo SS to replace the 87 Monte "shell".  We should be able to pick it up this weekend in North Carolina. Here are some pics. clap.gif

We will be leaving around midnite tonight for the long drive to Seagrove North Carolina to pick up the Monte. We'll take some pictures of the road trip.

It isin't much warmer in NC so we won't be leaving the cold behind. Me and Cat will take turns teamwork.gif driving sprint.gif until sun.gifrise and hope we won't have any problems with the police.gifno.gif

Thanks for all the well wishes!!  We left Sat. mroning at 1am and stopped at 7-11 for some Red Bulls and tea


Me, Cat and our guard dog "Lady" embarked on a trip to North Carolina


Sat. at about 11:30am driving towards Greensboro NC


We came upon a great looking 84 or 85 Monte Carlos SC on the road



Arrived at Seagrove NC and picked up the Monte










Here's Jim (previous owner)


Loading the Monte onto the trailer




Cat with our new addition


We headed to Concord Nort Carolina to Z-Max speedway

Had to test the new Mont on the 1/4 mile track

Bot the track was closed, oh well maybe another day.

A Stop at the Harley Davidson dealership in Concord NC


We got home around 5pm and all is well. Car runs great so far. I'll get plates and reggie tomorrow and give her a good run.
