Damn it, just got a invitation for my nepehews graduation party and also his girlfriends daughters graduation at the same time. the party starts at 2 so maybe i can still make it to Cecil but leave at like 2 and get to the party at 3:00....

Had a FANTASTIC time at Cecil!

Over 280 show cars and about 250 drag cars showed up.

Started the races at 9am and continued till after 4pm.

We saw some amazing cars from all eras, some old and some new, all ran FAST and LOUD!!

Did have one hit the wall and take out two pylons, totalled that baby, but the driver was unhurt. He lost it out of the hole but did not get out of it in time.

Awesome weather, slight breeze most of the day and not all that hot & muggy. Everyone had a great time. Few of us Monte Folks took home some trophies for top forty and best club represented, and long distance trooper.

Nostalgic drag racin was the best part of the show! Bob (mmc427ss) from Pa (in a MONTE) did 13.1 and a 12.8 times, Way to go Bob!

THANK YOU Scott and John from "Presely Productions" for making this all possible! You can bet your bottom dollar I will be back NEXT year. Scott had a special MONTE ROW for us monte freaks! (Leo, Elco/Rich, Jim & Karen, Tommy, Doc, Mrs.D, NY Joe and Bug Man Joe, Bob and others...Thanks for your pleasent company)

That summed it up Dave. We got home about 9:45. Traffic was great except for the Throggs Neck Bridge. It was a a great day. Nice ride down in the AM, fantastic show cars, some pretty cool racing, and great people to share it all with. It doesn't get better than that!!!  Thanks Scott and John for another fun day. Great job!!! I will have pics up tomorrow .... if I ever get out of bed, LOL.

We all had a blast!!!, it was a GREAT show, there also was alot of go!!!!

Some real nice/fast cars there, the 41 willys was insane!!! if he could get it to hook up it would be in the 7's, and the triumph was nice to,
4 banger running in the low 9's

Trip home was good to, only hit some traffic at the Throggs Neck Bridge, other then that it was free sailing.

Thanks Scott & John for putting on this show and we will be there again next yr.

The NYMCC took some awards to, and the 50/50

2 in the top 40 Redline(Dave) and me
2nd place on Club Participation award
50/50 Joe
And Doc & MD got the driving distance award!!!

Thanks to all that attended!!
