For the last 2 years, we have a get together in Binghamton. Basically its a chance for everyone to meet each other in the club. Binghamton is less than 5 hours [ without traffic issues ] from anywhere in NY. There is a Club there that hosts a car show during the Speidiefest that we attended last year. It is a great time

can I make a suggestion with binghamton?? Last year was a little confusing on who can enter the car show andwho can not enter the car show, and by the time those that were in the show parked, we were all the way in the back, and judging was just about over. Don't get me wrong, I could care less about winning an award, but it would be nice to be there for more than 20min, before judging ends. Also, would it be possible to Crusin' Buddies to let them know we car coming and possibly save us a spot? They are all so nice and welcoming i don;t think it would be too much of an issue....idk.

Tim last year was our first year at this show and now we know to pre-register. As long as we all leave the hotel at the same time, and have our Purple passes,(or whatever color pass for this year) we will be able to park together. I don't think the Cruzin buddies are able to reserve spots.

be tough for me to make it again this year , even if i ride out saturday after the local show I probly wont make it there until well after dinner. then heading home sunday morning wont leave time for much of anything and with having to work 3rd shift sunday night I need to get some sleep at some point, oh well cry

Jason, Doug helps out with the Town of Tonawada Hiway Dept. Show over on Woodward. Thats been a fun show, especialy if you have kids, they get to check out the equipment, fire trucks and what not. I missed it last year, but the years prior, we had fun.

Heck the ride down is always a ton of fun!

Taking Pictures standing through the sunroof, Seeing guys in Saturns nearly crash because they are laughing to hard as we pass them, Playing "THE CD" over the 2 ways, Seeing whose bladder will hold out the longest, Matt's or Crystal's.......................................... LOL!

it's no big deal, last year we took My son's car, 3:90 rear end with a TH350, It was turning 3800-4000 for the 3.5 drive there and again on the way back. Just varry the speed periodically and you'll be fine.

mine tachs 3500rpm at 65 ish and i drove mine almost 4 hrs away to OC Maryland. I've driven it to LI a few times like Dave said just vary the speed a bit here and there

The th350 an 3.73's aren't the greatest for the highway but I will take them over the 2.56's any day.

I'll be there ... sort of.

I'll arrive sometime in the evening on Friday, driving from Akron OH that morning through PA. Then, I'll be there Saturday and stay overnight Saturday night, too, before taking off early Sunday morning.

So ... without a car, I won't need to register, correct? I could just tag along a ride with someone else...or?

Here's the scoop on the Hotel. We have a group rate of $89.95. When you call for a reservation, make sure you tell them that you are with the NY Monte carlo Club. Reservations must be made by 7/28 to get the special rate. You can reserve the rooms starting Saturday, 2/13. The Hotel inf is:

Joe did find a sigle girl last year... even had a date night watching Wizzard of Boz... till the dvd player craped out. Luckly for Joe though I didn't need to get my shot gun out... Mak just seemed to look at Joe and scream lol!!!

OK ... my reservations HAVE BEEN MADE! Woot. The person that took my reservations for Friday and Saturday night seemed a bit shocked that an Illinoisian (that'd be me) was going to a show for New Yorkers. Then, when I mentioned this is part of a road trip ... driving by myself ... the person seemed just about flabbergasted that someone would do a road trip solo ... lol. I didn't bother mentioning my longer Route 66 trip last September......
