So a while back before I got my 88, I was getting my kicks with a 1:24 scale version of a 4th gen. Here are the pics back then

Well, I've decided to get back to work on it after thinking about it more.  Here are some updated pics...

It has been lowered, and here it is showing off the chrome IROC's

Lookin good Tim! There's a cowl hood out there for that kit. (I have one).biggrin Hmmm.
Maybe we should start a contest. That kit is readily available. Hmmm... popcorn.gif

there's a cowl hood for the 4th gen Monte's?? what kit did it come from? I've been thinking of making my own, but...

Wow very cool stuff, I tried my hand at car models when I was younger...never panned out well...so I went the die-cast route...lol....keep us updated on your buiild Tim!

The hood was made by AFXnResin. I'll see if I can find a link to his site. I haven't done any modeling in a couple of years. I hope the guy is still in business.

Tim, look on Ebay, there is a guy on there that makes the cowl hoods, as well as the LS conversions, Doug found it for me.

tim you can get a cowl hood from PSF hobbies they're usually on ebay but I'm pretty sure that i have there site somewhere too.
