Looking at Wheels (Daydreaming)

so I was looking at some wheels on Summit Racing, and came upon these...

then my thoughts to add some gold to it

bsp-rs037706540n_w.jpg

then get a bowtie center cap

my only concers are if 17's are going to be big enough (I saw some on 4th gen firebirds but they looked like they were running a goofy tire cause they looked small on the car) and concerns about the durrability with the fact that these are only 18lbs!!!!

Thoughts?

Tim, I Love those wheels! But I think the red bow ties are too much.

I still think the 24" Gold Wire Daytons would be better, LOL!

yeah i don't know if i would even be able to get a bowtie center cap... maybe a gold bowtie would be better, idk. oh well, i have to save monet for them anyways, it's not like i can get these anytime soon lol

I like the wheels just the way they are but the gold would look cool too.
I think the bowtie would make it look too busy.

I'd leave the gold, it would match the stripes and interior. But thats me. I like simple.

Hey Tim, Maybe you can buy the Gold Keystone Klassics off Tony's 57! They would be Old school!

Tony, I'm assuming that is maintaining the outer diameter tire? the 17's look pretty good. better than what the people were using on the stangs and f-bodies... sheeeh

No Colors on chrome....I would get sick of the color on the chrome....I get Chrome wheel with a green bowtie center cap...or just all chrome....color inserts look well....awful on older cars...Also stay away from the green/red mix of colors on the ss...just my thoughts....
I like the edelbrock 409 or 426 on your car.

Hmmm....I agree.

But ... what about green where the gold is ... and then putting the gold on the bowtie instead of the red?

*pauses*

OK ... maybe not ... lol.

Still ... those wheels look good.....
