parting out 2003 Impala LS

Alright just got word from my brother the impala my parents bought new when i was a high school senior and i drove around like it was mine has been totaled by my brother for the final time.  the insurance company is taking it away on monday.  the car is located in nassau county, long island, new york.

RESTRICTIONS:  because the insurance company is going to be taking it away not everything can be taken.  because they sell it as a salvage vehicle.  meaning some major parts may not be taken without leaving another one.  for example if you want the leather seats, just be ready to leave your cloth ones behind.  but if you want a engine cover, that wont be missed and can be taken off.   sounds ridiculous, but i do not want trouble, i am only supposed to be removing the after market stuff this weekend

tires have less than 2000miles on them, they are michelins.  i have access friday morning to a tire machine that i will be pulling them off and putting old ones on.  so tires are availiable.  rims are good though

BBE upgraded the HVAC to blue LEDs, swap yours in, plus $30.  i could help you if you want

Car has a Monte Carlo SS speedometer with oil and voltage with about 95,000miles on it and BBE upgraded to white LEDs.  again you leave yours plus $125

catalytic converter has about 20,000miles, $10 to swap if you know what you are doing

passenger side driver shaft about 3000miles, free if you know what you are doing

Brembo rear rotors and pads i think about 2k mi, i have to check my records, $40 for me to swap out, $20 if you help

Brembo front rotors not warped, about 5k mi i think, need to check to records, free if you do the swap.  $40 if i do it.


I am mainly looking if anyone is interested.  and wanted to post sooner than later if this works for someone here they can plan for the weekend.  thats why prices are absent

Alan, I'm just outside of Buffalo. about 8 hours away, The only thing I'd be interested in would be the HVAC unit. And thats not a big deal anyways, I have 2 here that I could install LEDs as well.

too bad, i am looking for someone i can put it into  too bad you cant ship it to me by monday morning.  i just stepped away from the car for the first time hours and looked at it and it looked good

its amazing how fast i can pull out the GMPP handing kit when i just dont care if i scratch the car or tighten everything properly when i put it back in lol
