motor did it!!!!

well guys, the little terror did it and didn't skip a beat for the most part, it will need a new timing chain set... keith  sent me some quick #'s last night, and was quite giddy about the way the thing pulled. they made 12 total pulls with 4 back to back runs that were within a few hp and torque of one another.  max  boost was 20lbs, and i will need to get another carb, that one was a borrowed 700 cfm. i'm so stoked!!!!! i'll get the runs and all the info up this coming weekend after i get the motor back. thanks for all the interest and the support guys. mike

Holy Crap!!! Thats pretty good numbers!!! At 2500 it made more power than a stock 4 gen SS LOL!

well guys, got a few parts in and some one the way. sorry for the stock photos, only means of pics at the moment. got the new moroso alt/vacuum pump mount and a newer style pump and the pulleys to go with the new stuff and also a mini bodied alt.


and the new shafts rockers from jesel. was borrowing some for the dyno pulls. the intakes are their mohawk series and the exhaust will be solid body.
got to get the dyno info outta pdf form and get them up. kinda new to me.

thanks guys thanks rob, good question... not sure to be honest, i think at this point the block will be the weak link. i have a few bow tie blocks in the works, we will have to see. the motor did what i wanted in power, the torque was a big bonus. may let sleeping dogs lay for now . mike
