i upgraded the 07 Monte's brakes to cross drilled and slotted rotors with ceramic brakes. got them off ebay for $189.95 and free shipping for all 4 corners.

Looks good Jim, I love mine except I went thru summit. Had strong pedal since I bought them, although I'm starting to feel a vibration, which is probably due to a warped rotor. Anyone know if you can turn these? I'm thinking no. Brakes are still good, but a vibration that get annoying, but I have had them for 35K miles.

they can be turned, but with specialized equipment that pretty much nobody has. Replacement is actually a better idea with these anyway, you loose the chamfering around the slots and holes when turned and they have a tendency to crack

i finally drove it Sunday for the first time and i forgot i did the brakes..lol caught me by suprise when i went to stop..
