Some of you may remember that a while ago, for a few years in a row, I created different trivia games ... and awarded prizes. This time around ... 6 Jeopardy!-style questions (1 for each Monte Carlo generation: 1970-1972, 1973-1977, 1978-1980, 1981-1988, 1995-99, 2000-07) and 2 bonus "TV cars" opportunities.
Prizes? To Be Announced. Post your replies here; I'll keep track of the scores and post the correct responses (in the form of a question!)....

HISTORY LESSON
= 70 POINTS
In the mid-1990s, the Impala name was resurrected for a sporty version of the Caprice, which was still rear-wheel drive. In 1995, the Monte Carlo name was resurrected for the coupe version of the front-wheel drive Lumina coupe/sedan, which had replaced the Celebrity ~5 years earlier. At that time (late 1980s/early 1990s), all of Monte Carlo's cousin nameplates (Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme, Buick Regal and Pontiac Grand Prix) continued on front-wheel drive cars, while the Monte Carlo name disappeared. The re-designed 1995 Lumina sedan was the second generation Lumina (the third generation becoming the new, front-wheel drive Impala), while the re-designed 1995 coupe is considered to be this generation Monte Carlo.
TALL TAIL
= 73 POINTS
The taillight pictured below is from this Monte Carlo generation.
NAMEPLATE PLACEMENT
= 78 POINTS
The only year of the 2nd generation Monte Carlos that the nameplate on the front of the car is on the grill chrome, not the body panel/header.
EMBLEM ETIQUETTE
= 81 POINTS
The hood ornament emblem pictured below is from this Monte Carlo generation.
MILESTONE MARKER
= 95 POINTS
The 70 millionth Chevrolet produced was a 1970 Monte Carlo on this date.
GENERAL LEE KNIGHT, BONUS
= 88 POINTS
January 21, 1983, television's "car night", saw Coy and Vance Duke helping Boss Hogg in the "Ding, Dong, the Boss Is Dead" episode of CBS' Dukes Of Hazzard. Meanwhile, that same night, the "Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death" episode of NBC's Knight Rider featured Michael and KITT (a modified Pontiac) entering the Alternative 2000, a cross country race for cars running on alternative fuel, to find the saboteur. One of the race cars is an orange Dodge Charger, driven by a pair of relatives similar to the Duke boys, complete with a Dixie flag on their uniforms. Their Charger was powered by this fuel source.
RED, WHITE & GREEN, BONUS
= 77 POINTS
ABC's "Starsky & Hutch" featured 1974-1976 Ford Torinos (body style between those years mainly unchanged), supplied by Ford Motor Company's Studio-TV Car Loan Program for Spelling-Goldberg. But, William Blinn, the show's creator, originally wanted this car, because he fondly remembered a green and white one that he owned.

And, Tim ... you are one of few that actually put the answers in the form of a question ... as they should be. Hmmm....so::::
*** Ahem! This is JEOPARDY!. Your answers should be "in the form of a question". ***
Since the first topic is worth only 7 points, the answer to "66 STOCK CAR" is below. I will deem points accordingly.
In the meantime, I'll wait to post the rest of the correct replies to give people a chance to CHANGE responses to be "in the form of a question." This also gives others a chance to POST guesses to all but the first topic.
CHANGE or POST your replies to "HISTORY LESSON", "TALL TAIL", "NAMEPLATE PLACEMENT", "EMBLEM ETIQUETTE", "MILESTONE MARKER", "GENERAL LEE KNIGHT" and "RED, WHITE & GREEN".
ANSWER: 66 STOCK CAR = 07 POINTS What is the 6th generation?
