ok who's in for the endless summer cruise in OC Maryland?
we went last year and had a great time. i want to stay at Frontier town again (i think that was the name). yup that's the name here's the link http://www.frontiertown.com/
a general question (just cause I'm current;y too lazy to look at last years thread) What sites did to stay at last year? and when did you guys go down and when did you leave?
This one might be hard, But we'll see. Tim remember, we'd have to stay at the Squizzes the night before. I'll have to see what I can pull off
started talking to Crystal about it last night. Unfortunately she doesn't get Friday off for Columbus Day, so we have to see if she can take the day off, but like I said earlier, it may just be me in that event
Can someone share a little more detail about this one?
John we don't really go to enter the car show with our cars. the show is huge we go to have a good time and cruise up and down the strip. tons and tons of cars. we put 120 miles last year cruising the strip and back and forth and also going to the camp ground. of course there is plenty of POPO so you have to be selective of your spots to play...
me and Karen/Tommy/Ang/ Joe all met up with Scott and Trish and a few other poeple like Joe aka Royal Termite and a lot of others as well. also the camp ground does have cabins just like sea pirate but we try to get the rental trailers right on the bay.

It takes place in Ocean City Maryland, pretty much an island strip with one main road up, and down the island,
we stay just outside of the island in Frontier Town, a camp site along the lines of seapirate but instead of cabins they are big trailers.
We cruise there on Friday Night check in, then cruise across a bridge to the island, we cruise up and down the main strip, along the sides of the strips there are parking lots (Gas stations/Hooters/mini marts) that get filled up with cars/people and just watch the people cruising.
Saturday there is a show in the parking lot along the board walk, pretty decent turnout, but most who cruise don't go to the show (we walked it, but did not enter), Continued hanging out in parking lots later on...
Any trailers left and how is the car trailer parking. And if I go, who is going to feed me?
you'll have to call frontier town to see. i haven't booked my yet but will be very soon. Tommy had no problems parking his trailer, but your's is a bit larger then his, but i don't see any issues as far as room. and as far as eating i think it's your time to cook and FEED US
you probably only do that for friends thou which is good i'll be safe from your cooking then since i'm a nobody to you.

Great. Guys..thanks jim for reminding me to book this. Ocean city is a fun, fun, fun trip...as far as the campgroud goes it is very friendly to the endless summer cruisers....our site had plenty of room for our trailer. The camp sites are not as small as seapirate. When you call tell them what you are bringing.
Last year it rained at the show and it was still a good turnout...
When John gets home tonight, I am definately telling him to book us for this. Girls will have school so, hehehe, we can get away just the two of us and have my mom come up here and stay with the girls :) They won't be too happy, but I welcome a weekend away with just the Hubby!!!!!
Guys here are the pics from last year so you know what to expect, a few pics down is what the trailers look like on the inside and out, just to get an idea. Also when reserving make sure you specify you have trailers, I believe certain ones are setup for them:

I'm booked but skeptical about parking my car trailer.....I think I have a camper trailer with a dock. Don't know why. Is this good or bad for parking my trailer? I need some quidence from the NY people I know....

You just got yourself a ride on the "Your Dead To Me" express train.....
LOL... Well, I've been on the Gravy train, Wagon train and the Last train to Clarkesville... I'll add this one to my itinerary. At least I'll be in good company with Houlie and Tony :)
So are the vac trailers with the docks have more room for parking then the other vacation trailers. Also, she would not give me a site number. Said they are assigned at check in. How come Angie got one? I'm not feeling good about this. I need a site where I can drive through one end of the vac trailer to the other.....
